Introduction

Datingsim.com is a co-production by the Tanukis and Lexis Numérique.

The Tanukis, a cross-media creation studio, and Lexis Numérique, a studio creating video games for DS, Wii, PS3, Xbox, and the Internet, are well-known in the industry, and work for many prestigious customers: Ubisoft, EA, LEGO, Disney, Universal Music, Orange, etc.

The Tanukis and the first steps of Datingsim.com

The story of the Tanukis began in Lyon, France, in 2001, when Nicolaï Chauvet, Nicolas Flory and Utku Kaplan set up “Studio Tanuki”, a group of creative artists with a passion for animation and video games. Between 2001 and 2003, the 3 authors realized a number of different games, animation and website projects, including the game Minami Hamazaki Dating Simulation and the first Datingsim.com community portal,
with the participation of Nicolas Lavillonnière, which was to become a major hit, registering more than 300,000 members in less than two years.

At the beginning of 2004, when Nicolaï Chauvet moved to Paris, Nicolas Flory and Utku Kaplan founded the company “Les Tanukis” (The Tanukis) with Nicolas Flory's former classmate Damien Briatte, and continued with the Datingsim.com adventure.

In 2007, having built up a wealth of experience working for a range of clients, the Tanukis decided to produce a new game (Lovely Juliet) and create a new site.
It is with great pride that the Tanukis now present this new portal and its content.

Lexis Numérique

Lexis Numérique joined the project at the start of 2008 as the portal publisher and co-producer, bringing their know-how and experience in creating video games for a global, multi-cultural audience.
